I received a lumbar transforaminal epidural injection recently and truly the doctor and his staff were amazing. This is normally super frightening to me and the staff in the procedure room were comforting, particularly the anesthetist, Paula Sue Rose. I sailed through the procedure feeling very grateful for their comfort and help. The doctor answered all questions to my satisfaction.
As always everyone is caring and professional, I asked just before the procedure to be put under and not get the scheduled local. You guys were great and put me under for my procedure. I am in emotional discomfort and some how it was recognized and I was cared for. I recently lost my youngest son and it weighs on me. Excellent!!! During my first visit with Dr. Crooks he had already reviewed my MRI, previous doctor notes, and images. I felt very welcomed with Dr. Crooks and Ramona his nurse! They are both very knowledgeable and caring! My pain is in my cervical area, Dr. Crooks and I disgusted my treatment plan and he thoroughly explained everything to me. Matthew "Dr. Miracle-worker" Crooks was my latest attempt since 2002 of four other "back specialists". Matthew having studied my previous MRIs decided that RFA was the most likely treatment for success while being the least invasive. He setup an aggressive schedule and only 3 days ago I had my first Lumbar right side RFA. I can not say enough good things about Dr Crooks and the Pinnacle Pain Staff/Team. I had back pain for nearly 3 years and Dr. Crooks has given me the ability to a full night sleep after my procedure. I was hesitant at first as I fear injections but the staff and Dr Crooks do such a great job at making me feel better. I came to Dr Crooks with a number of issues which prevented me from living a full and enjoyable life. In a few months Dr Crooks has me back on the golf course, bending over to wash my face and able to lift my leg enough to pull slacks on. I had almost given up thinking Iââ¬â¢d ever be able to perform any of these simple tasks and canââ¬â¢t put into words how happy I am every day. Thanks Dr Crooks.
Dr. Crookes is amazing. He was able to get me back to a high level of functioning. After 3 injections I am able to work out like before and able to perform my job duties. I would refer anyone to Dr. Crookes as he is professional, competent, and helped me avoid surgery thus far.
Dr Crooks is wonderful!! I had been struggling with what I thought was shoulder/scapular pain for at least a year and a half. Went to the Chiropractor, had tissue work done, dry needling, you name it but was still in a great deal of discomfort. I saw Dr Crooks who immediately ordered an MRI and determined it was actually pain associated with my neck.
