My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by having dinner at Piney Creek Chop Hpuse. We ordered the Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon. It was so tender we were able to use the butter knife to cut it with. Service was great and they treated us to a free dessert-Creme Brûlée and Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce. Great night, delicious good, fantastic atmosphere.
It is a lovely, fine dining restaurant not usually found in a small town. Highly recommend the lamb chops. Good service and food combine to make for a nice night out.

My wife, Judith and I dined here on Saturday evening. Bartender was very good, conversational, and made us a heckuva great Martini or two! We were seated promptly, and had great service. I'm a NY Strip type of guy, so I ordered the large one, medium rare, and Judith ordered a Filet Mignon medium. True to their word, the steaks didn't require a steak knife! Went there on a Monday night for my cousin's birthday and had the 10 oz. filet and it was perfect, I had it cooked medium and it was probably the best steak I have had in ten years! Anyway the sides of Au Gratin Potatoes and the Sauteed Mushrooms were also delicious and the service was top notch! We will certainly come and eat here again and hopefully soon.
