Piney Creek Chophouse has never disappointed! Craig is amazing and always takes good care of us. It's the only place I've had a steak that I could cut with a butter knife.
Outstanding dry aged beef, great sides, nice desserts and really outstanding service. If you are in Bastrop or live anywhere nearby, this place is well worth a visit.
Excellent service, ambiance was exactly what we were looking for- cozy, dark, romantic, elegant, and possibly the best steak I've ever eaten!

One of the most incredible dining out experiences we've ever had! What a hidden jewel for our county. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Thanks for a wonderful anniversary dinner. All the employees were amazing, helpful and friendly.
The filet was excellent. Lobster bisque was a little thin but the amount of lobster in the bisque was very satisfying. Garlic potatoes were the weakest part of the meal work on that. Salad was very good. Stuffed mushrooms and scallops were spot on. Service was ok.
