One time it was very good, another time it was so-so. Always was expensive.
My fiancé and I live about an hour from Bastrop, but we're getting married at ColoVista in September so we've been in the area a lot this past year. We were told we had to try Piney Creek Chop House several months ago and I finally got the chance to try it this past Friday. I wish we would have put more effort into discovering this gem sooner! Best food in Bastrop y'all. Be sure to check them out. Steaks that you can cut with a butter knife.
Went again a couple of nights ago - Rick's treat for my birthday. It's nice to have a choice as good as this one closer to home than Austin
The strawberry spinach salad was really good and the crab macaroni was tasty too. I would recommend this restaurant.
