It’s a quaint and quiet restaurant. We witnessed the owner calming talking to a couple with unruly children on their way out. We were not in the restaurant during the mess but I can assure you every patron that was dining during was thankful for their exit. It’s an unfortunate event to watch a man holding his child, throwing an adult fit and threatening to ‘throw down’ at the start of our dining however we sat, talked to others, had a cocktail and a fabulous dinner without screeching children. Fabulous steak. Fabulous lamb. ... read more

When they said you can cut the steak with a butter knife they weren’t kidding! One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! The ambiance so awesome. Our waiter Colt was very attentive and friendly. The Bananas Foster was spectacular coming to the table flambé! If you are ever in Bastrop you must try this great place!

Great service. Steaks were tender and the dessert fantastic. Vegetables were average at best. Place needs remodeled, but would go back for sure!

The food was excellent. However the restaurant is in need of updates and cleaning. The booth we sat at had the material on the booth seperating. My wife had pieces of it all stuck to her legs. Looking up at the cieling you could see cobwebes in all the branches suspended from the ceiling. This place is priced to be a premium restaurant. The food meets that quality. The upkeep and cleaning does not.
