Awesome! One of the most breathtaking and astonishing experiences of my life. If you're in Colorado you must see Pikes Peak summit...you'll never forget it.
We took The Pikes Peak Highway to the top. This is not the drive for the faint of heart. My husband drove & I remarked WOW around every curve! When we had left the base it was 74 and Sunny. When we got to the top it was still sunny, but only 39. However, when we left 30 mins later, we were in the middle of a hail/thunder/snowstorm!!!
We did not get to the peak of this mountain but I finally understand why people climb Mount Everest! You get as close to God while you are on earth as you possibly can. This place is amazing! It makes me wonder how much more beautiful is heaven!
