Pikes Peak is one of my favorite places to go, but my parents and I had an unhappy experience on Thursday (6/15). At the entrance (toll booth), the ranger came out of the booth and told me that the guy in front of me was buying an annual pass, so I was going to experience a 5 minute wait. Since register #3 was open, I switched my car to that lane. The cashier at #3 (ChuckS) was very unpleasant. Should've worn my balaclava! That wind was strong! But I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I will have to make another visit some time soon because those were the best doughnuts I've ever had!
