We drive an hour and a half to Pike Animal Hospital for dog care and boarding for our several trips a year and Are always so happy with the way Dr. Johnston and his staff take care of our sweet dogs. They know and love our dogs like their own.
Dr. Johnston is the only veterinarian I use. You can tell he truly cares about the animals. Every time I go he sits and talks with me about not just the animal I brought in but the others that I have brought to him and the ones I have at home. He is so kind and gentle with my fur babies. I wouldn't take them to anyone else.
Absolutely amazing, Dr. Johnston is loving, caring and truly has your pet's best interest, he does not believe in over-vaccinating or pushing unnecessary tests and medication when he already knows the problem. He is a true Vet that seems to be coming to a rarity. He really cares about the animals. Always looking for a solution to help them, never gives up. Dr. Johnston is a kind and very understanding. We have moved away from Troy and one of the things that miss the most is “Doc” Johnson and the staff. All in all they took care of six of our dogs and did a fantastic job!!
We had to take our boxer last night because he got out of our fence and overheated. Dr Johnston was almost home and turned around and met my husband with him. He sat up all night with him because he had seizures and convulsions. Rocky is alert and responding this morning. Dr Johnston went above and beyond to take care of him. You do not find many vets that will care this much. We are so thankful! We have been using Pike Animal for years and have never been disappointed.
My 9/10week old puppy was snake bit yesterday morning and Dr Johnston saved her life. I will be forever grateful for him and his staff
