I will go back and I will recommend – I was tired of going from one dr to another based on the insurance I had. I went in very reluctantly based on my experience with drs. and specially because it was a clinic and not a regular doctor's office. a friend recommended dr. Walker but because she only sees patients on Thursdays I couldn't see her. Dr Salinas was very friendly and warm and explained everything in detail, I could even say he cared for my well being. I just found my primary care physician.
Great experience, the doctor was very thorough and I was pleased with the cost, I would take anyone I care about to this clinic.
Two thumbs up!! – While not everyone I know is familiar with the term "doc-in-a-box," it's one my family has used, well, as far back as I can remember. There was the time I broke my arm in the Rich's dressing room (that's a whole other story) and we went to the one that used to be in the strip shopping center with Mellow and Sherlock's Wine at Brookhaven. I had an outstanding experience! – I had an outstanding experience with Piedmont Minor Emergency Clinic. Today I was treated by Dr. Anthony Mills. I have suffered from Gout for about 15 years. The attacks while not frequent do occur every 12 months or so and are very painful. I used the clinic because it's fast and easy and I can get a hold of the neccessary medication to alleviate the pain quickly. I'd recommend – I went to the place for my annual physical. The doctor (Walker) was really good and professional. I never had a doctor spent more than 5 minutes with me. She spent about 15-20. The staff was friendly and I didn't wait much (granted I went early in the morning). in general, I do recommend the place, and keep in mind this is a clinic and not an ER.
I went in to have a cut looked at and get a tetnus shot. I recieved a bill 8 months later for $200 listing "surgery" when nothing was done at all in that nature. They also charged me $10 for gauze, $20 for antiseptic, $200 for an office visit, etc . etc. On top of it all, the service was mediocre, the office is a dump, and the wait was excessive seeing as though there was only 1 other person in the waiting room. STAY AWAY
Fantastic service – My daughter and I are from out of town. When she became sick during our visit I wasn't sure where to take her. I thought of going to the nearest ER but I knew that would take forever. I asked the receptionist at our hotel where we should go and they suggested this place. When we got there we were greeted by a very nice receptionist and the nurse who took my daughters vitals was very kind also. COMPASSIONATE AND CARING CLINIC – My father was visiting and fell ill during his stay. He has heart issues and other ailments due to being older. He was having trouble breathing. It was recommended to me to take him to this clinic. It was Saturday evening at 6:00. We checked in and he was seen within 20 minutes upon arrival. The nurse took his vitals and calmed his anxiety.
