I love Pickford's! Last night I made scallops in a wine reduction sauce and served them over zucchini "noodles." Not only did I get wonderfully fresh and flavorful scallops from Pickford's, Will wrote down the recipe for me — and walked me through it. "It's simple," he said, and it was. It was also absolutely delicious. Thanks, Will!

We live about 40 minutes south of Harrisonburg. We were searching for a special fish, smelt, to include in our Christmas Eve dinner. Being Italian, we have the Feast of the 7 Fishes each Christmas Eve and smelts are a must to have dish. We contacted Will and he ordered us some. Not only were the smelts the best ones we have ever had but Will went above and beyond to make sure we got our special fish. He even contacted us to see how they turned out. The best and freshest seafood, hands down! I selected grouper, salmon and crabcakes and am so very happy with the high quality. The service is also exceptional and the store is fresh, clean and you can watch everything happen from making a selection to cutting to packaging. Mr. Pickford even offers ice for traveling home freshness! Great place!
