She performs unnecessary dental work for profit like all dentists and most doctors. . Her staff tells you that x-rays are like sunshine and don't know the difference between ultraviolet and ionizing radiation. She gets down at your level to get you to trust her so that she can destroy healthy tooth structure for her self advancement.
I had a retainer made and it was extremely uncomfortable and bulky to sleep with it inside my mouth. It cost over $300 and regret not speaking out about it. I have a nice thin retainer that fits comfortably made by another orthodontist. I don't believe their designs from teeth impressions are accurate.
Had moved to Pittsburgh - First visit was part of my permanent retainer came off of one tooth but not the others, so it needed re-bonded. Actual procedure took about 5 minutes but waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes. Her bonding came off overnight - less than 12 hours. The staff made it sound like I should be grateful not to be charged again so soon when I came back the next day (it was already a couple hundred dollars the first time for 5 minutes of glue and a light to "set" it). I've been going to see Dr. Lee for many years, and I've had a wonderful experience. She did a complete smile makeover for me, and my teeth look amazing. Dr. Lee is kind and helpful and was always there for me when I had problems with my teeth.
what a horrific experience! I called with a chipped tooth as an estabilished patient and had to leave a message. When I called back I was asked if my name is Deborah, no uh Madison, uhhh Susan? No, Elizabeth. I left it in the message. And now I'm being told that I cant be seen for my chipped tooth for 3 weeks! Are you kidding me? What kind of customer service is this? What type of office does not plan for emergencies. PATHETIC. Staff was rude. Dentist left much to be desired. No care or concern!
She really needs to work on herself. She had to redo my filing 3 times plus I had no major problems, no cavities, just needed to change my filling because the food would stuck in between my teeth. First time she did it, the next time a had a hole in my filling, second time I couldn't even chew food because it hurt so badly, third time was better and than I started doing another tooth and can't chew on the other side now. In addition, she was annoyed and acted rude. I just gave up. (((
Wonderful dentist and staff. Handled my complex problems with amazing results.
My entire family went to Dr.Lee for SEVERAL years. At 1st it was ok, but eventually we ended up paying again and again for HER mistakes! (A co-worker who'd seen her for 20+ years had warned me that his mouth was an utter disaster) I kept going, and alas a tooth she had just fixed failed and.. she could see me 2mos. Later!! RIDICULOUS!!!I called 3 times and no accomidation. I just today got 1 of 2 crowns she did root canaled B/C she didn't do it right!!!! Run don't walk.. you'll be glad u did!!
Implant had to be redone by another dentist at my cost. On another occasion she tried to pull a tooth for 45 minutes, a la marathon man movie.
