Though not as large as the Sky Harbor International Airport, the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport functions as a regional airport for those who want to fly on a budget airline. Formerly known as Williams Gateway Airport, it is definitely convenient for residents of the East Valley as well. The only airline that services Gateway is Allegiant Airlines, but it has several low-cost routes around the country. Additionally, the airport has a few car rental companies located in the main terminal.

I like that you don't have to fight the crowds like at big airports and you get checked in quick.
I like how small it is. It's very clean, has places to fill your water bottle, nice people and good food!
Very convenient location, and very fast times between arriving at the airport and getting through security. It is a joy to have them in the Phoenix Mesa area!
Nice small and friendly airport. Very easy to get to and never any traffic snarls. Prefer to fly into here before Sky Harbor any day!!
