Good food: fresh ingredients, there could be a little bit more action in the Pho and the sauces!! but very fresh plates.
Truly one of my favourite restaurants in Halifax! Service is friendly and the food comes quick. My absolute favourite is the fish cake soup - it is so fresh and delicious with tons of fish and fish cakes. The pho, bun bo hue, crispy and fresh spring rolls are all tasty too, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here!
So many delicious dishes. My sister and mom went so many times on our very short vacation. As in they went for lunch, dinner, then lunch takeout then dinner again the next day. I think maybe 5 or 6 visits over 5 days vacation. My sister liked the Bun Bo Hue and mom liked the Com Ga. We are from Toronto which is the meca for Viet food in Canada and absolutely enjoyed the food here. Staff were lovely as well.
This is by far the BEST pho I have had in the entire province of Nova Scotia. I am not joking or exaggerating. Ever since moving to Canada from The USA I have been desperate for a good bowl of pho and everything fell short of the rich, savory broth i'm used to getting with my dad. from Yarmouth to Digby to Halifax nothing even came close until my wife and I came across this place by chance while looking for a different restaurant.
