Allendale burger with mixed fries is where it's at. Their hotdogs are nothing you write home about though.
Phil's is the absolutely BEST burgers in Austin and anywhere for that matter! I have been going to the Burnet location ever since they opened many years ago, and quality of food and service has ALWAYS been the absolutely BEST ever! Love the Austin themed menu. My favorite is the 78704 with a veggie patty, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, grilled onions, avocado, chipotle mayo, on a homemade jalapeno bun. The total bomb! Couldn't decide what to get so I got the sampler, didn't disappoint however the onions ring were good but I like em thick cut, it's kid friendly with a playground and dog friendly also Amy's ice cream is in the same building so how could you go wrong? Definitely would grub there again.... oh and they have craft beer so that's a plus
