Dr Ludkowski and his team guided me through the whole process. They really have all the steps down from pre-surgical to post-op and physical therapy. I was very happy he recommended only a partial replacement vs a complete knee. The recovery was quicker and less painful. I have regained all of my mobility in my knee, I no longer have pain going down stairs or walking. I have regaining my balance which has been a big plus. I would highly recommend Dr Ludkowski and his PA Alexa. A+
Dr. Ludkowski is a wonderful and kind doctor. I love my new knee, I am able to walk like I did when I was ten years younger! When I have been asked who did my surgery and I mention Dr. Ludkowski, other doctors and Pt. all say he is the best! Staff is very kind and helpful.
Dr. Ludkowski is an amazing surgeon and caring doctor. He takes the time to get to know you and your concerns and treats you very much as a person as well as a patient.
I needed both hips replacement. My experience with Dr. Ludkowski was easy. As a patient, you do need to invest the time and effort physical therapy requires. But the payoff is great. Dr. Ludkowski replaced both of my hips three months apart. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I was pain free right after surgery. The entire team follows a process that focuses on the patient. I’m happy with the results, and I’m really glad I found Dr. Ludkowski.
From my first visit with Dr. Ludkowski he was very personable and professional. After x-rays, we discussed the options and agreed on the necessity and timing of the procedure. Scheduling was very simple through Illinois Bone & Joint Institute and Northwest Community Hospital. In addition to treating my knees in the past, a couple years ago Dr Ludkowski did a very complicated surgery replacing the metal rod used to repair my broken femur from an earlier surgery done on an emergency basis elsewhere. The surgery was not only very successful (fully healed & walking normal) but Dr Ludkowski was extremely helpful in pre- and post-operation visits - taking the time needed to answer questions and fully explain everything. I strongly recommend Dr. Ludkowski.
I went to see Dr. Ludkowski at his Arlington Heights office. Arrived at 3:15 for a 3:30 appt. By 5:00, I asked to be refunded for my copay as I was still waiting to be seen (I did make it to a room but sat there and waited and waited). This is NO reflection on Dr. Ludkowski himself but rather on the office's time management. I overheard person after person complaining about long wait times for every visit.
