I waited over an hour and a half to be told that no hospital would allow me to have knee surgery at my weight. Called me a girl throughout our meeting. I am a 46yo woman. I would recommend going to ANY other doctor over this uninformed fat shamer.
Surgery was 3/20. Just completed my 3 month inspection. I was riding an exercise bike at 5 weeks, have been riding outside 20 miles, walking daily, golfing, everything pretty much normal. Dr. Ludkowski did a great job and I could not be happier with the recovery process. Except for the initial swelling in the first couple of weeks, really no pain. Very very happy.
Dr Ludkowski was sooo helpful. I am very grateful for his help, his expertise, and his patience with me and all my questions. Because of Dr Ludkowski, I had a partial knee replacement instead of a full knee (which another Dr recommended), saving me much pain and recovery time. I am so happy to be walking normally again. He was also very, very helpful with my PT. I’m very happy and grateful to Dr Ludkowski in making the whole process easier than it would have been.
Had knee issues with a knee replacement from 15 years ago, Dr Ludkowski was quick and efficient to tackle my unusual situation.
Dr. Ludkowski has performed knee surgery of both me and my wife - with out standing results. His surgical skills are reflected is the numerous outstanding reviews he receives. Also he empathetic with patients and he has very good "bedside manners". We recommend him highly.

I'll be 60 soon but after years of running my hip was bone-on-bone. I gave up the running a few years ago, had to cut short hiking trips, and when I could no longer get in a decent walk with my dog, I scheduled the appointment. Dr Ludkowski answered all my questions and thoroughly prepared pre and post op planning. The surgery and recovery went very well and a few weeks after the procedure, I passed the furthest walking distance from pre-op. You may have to wait a bit in to see the doctor.
