I used to do Medical Coding & Billing. We had gone in for a biopsy Dr. no longer felt a biopsy was needed. When the nurse brought us the paperwork it had been coded as a weight loss consultation. Not even close. We had been there for a facial biopsy, and had spoken to the Dr. less than 10 minutes. Is this standard for the Dr.s to lie when it comes to reimbursement for medical coding and billing. AHIMA thinks it's a problem.

Had absolute horrible service today, if you can call it service. Took a family member to urgent care and they would not even take his blood pressure and made us walk across the parking lot to ER where they did absolutely nothing but take his blood pressure and then released him in two minutes. Then they charged him a $245 copay for the ER and he will probably get a big fat bill too. What an absolute joke. Total lack of care. This place is not what it used to be , still waiting, appointment was moved to a later time without telling me , is not quality is about how many people they can squeeze in , and if you bring it to their attention is the good old , “DMV” attitude they don’t even look at you just tell you “Doctor is running behind” 1hour and still waiting, I bet is going to be a quick 5 minutes with the Doctor,,,,,,,,smh
I hate that Kaiser Fontana Link pharmacy has a line of about 15 or more people with 1 person checking patients in. Everyone else standing around waiting for something to do. And all the check in person can say is im just following my supervisor orders. Oh all the people standing around is waiting for the scripts to ve ready. WTF.
