Let me say that I am a rather senior person with an highly active ,clownish, very sweet 3 year old Boxer. I recently turned to Destin Petsmart for training for both of us. I highly recommend Harley ,their trainer for several reasons. She knows what she is doing, she is firm but kind. She taught me skills that made sense. Although he had some training ,she thought Breaux should attend beginner class to get a strong foothold on the basics which he did very well at, by the way. I agreed. Some of the employees in the Destin store are very rude. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else if you want good customer service.
Third or fourth time that Petsmart Grooming salon canceled on us. We’ve loved this company, but will be trying different grooming salons around the area due to this. Don’t have open appointments to only cancel.
Had to wait extremely long for service to get crickets, and didn’t get any help with dog food that I desperately needed on the blue brand!!!
I would strongly advise to not take your pets here for any grooming needs. In my experience, the staff are very rough with the animals and are way to clipper-crazy. We took our doodle to have a full groom, and are still dealing with the repercussions of this visit. Lola now is terrified of being bathed. She came out of this place a different dog. She was scared. The vet staff are very nice, but the grooming side seems like they lack any kind of love for animals. I would strongly advise to NOT bring your pets here.
I absolutely LOVE petsmart. I’m a nanny and take the kids here at least once a week if not 3 times a week. Needless to say we’ve been here over 300 times. This review is solely based on customer service and the store/layout/ friendlyness itself. I have never purchased an animal here as I’m more of a humane society kind of person. Bought 10 tiger barbs from Petsmart Destin a little over a week ago....4 have died so far from what I suspect is bacterial hemorrhagic septicemia (Blood spots on both sides). We noticed several dead fish in tanks while we were there but none from the tank we bought from.
