Great cut and color! – I went to the salon today for a cut and color after hearing positive feedback from a friend. Everyone was very friendly. The service was great and I left very happy with my new hair style! Peter did the cut and Corina did my color. They took their time and ended up doing just what I wanted!
A super colorist at your salon – Peter Louis salon has an excellent colorist: Michael. I have known him for about 15 years and have followed him around. I also go to his place in Eastern Long Island. finally no more searching – I finally found a colorist who knows color and how to compliment it to my skin tone. I have grey hair and I have been to about 5 different salons and was not happy with any of the results. Some were ok but I was never really thrilled. Terrible work! – I was at this salon a few weeks ago as a model , to see Michael, a colorist at the Peter Louis salon. I really needed my hair done and was excited. I should had known this was to good to be true. Michael claims he has been in the business many years, but had no clue what he was doing, I wanted blonde highlights with my natural brown hair. Several weeks ago we tried a new colorist out who was comparing the difference between loreal and Schwarzkopf and let him do some models for free. He was not authorized to highlight just single process. This salon has worked on thousands of clients over the last 11 years. We do a great job! Peter really understands hair care and has help my husband grow much of his hair back. They always treat their customers with the utmost respect. Best experience ever! – I've never been to Peter Louis Salon but was very excited about the "Girls night out event" he had. The staff was so hospitable . I got an awesome conditioning treatment and blow-out! I have a long bob haircut so it's really hard for a stylist to do something different that I like. The stylist gave me really nice loose curls which gave me a totally new look. I'll definitely go back!
No Stars – To start with I booked my appointment by phone 2 weeks in advance, this was my first time there ever, I was 20mins early for my appointment and the stylist that was set to do my hair was not even there,as a matter of fact he, ' the owner himself , Peter Louis , was 1hr 30 mins late for our appt. Thank you for your feedback! There is no excuse for an assistant treating you that way or being late. Jennifer has been terminated. An assistant always starts a Japanese Straightening unless you come with pre-washed hair. I give a thorough consultation and do a great job since 1999. I always thoroughly explain everything? If you forget what procedure your having done just ask ;) After 10 minutes processing time my junior Stylist who speaks english checks some clients.
