Finally a Great Haircut!! – I'm so happy to have found Peter! After taking the time to listen to all of my hair requirements, Peter gave me the best haircut I've had in years. For the first time in as long as I can remember, I am extremely happy with my haicut. And I've gotten so many compliments. You can be sure that I will go back for my next cut.
Wonderful Experience – I went to Peter Louis Salon wanting something very simple...a few highlights and a trim. Like many people, I had someone that I went to for a long time...unfortunately that person was back in MD and did not plan on moving her entire salon with me to the big apple:) Maria was a fantastic colorist and was able to work with me to create EXACTLY what I wanted (it's always scary going to someone new, especially for color). Great Time!!!! – This is the third time iv'e been to the peter louis salon; me and my best friend always have a great time there. I go ever year for a Japanese straightening retouch, Peter and his staff are so funny and nice.
HORRIBLE! – How in the world did this salon get a 9.6 rating? I went to Peter Louis and it was horrible! I got the WORST service. The staff was nasty and rude! Peter was totally ignorant of what was going on around him. The staff was arguing among themselves - completely unprofessional! Over the years, I have heard mixed reviews of Peter Louis but thought I would try it myself. What a mistake. Our salon is like a family it has it's ups and downs. We have been together since 1999 with some new additions, some deletions and some reunions. We have provide over 40,000 services during this time; I wish every client who had a positive experience would post a review. My staff is not nasty and rude. I always know what is going on in my salon. If I seem oblivious to my stylists discussions, I am actually focused on my clients. Very worth it hair cut – I am very happy to find somebody that does a true hair cut .Peter is the Master of all haircuts .I do have a weird shaped head and he is the only one that gave me a good haircut that hides the imperfection of my scalp. I do recommend Peter to everybody and all his staff were very friendly.
Best Japanese Straightening /Extensions – My friend said I should go to Peter Louis for Japanese Straightening because they have done over 2000 people with this process ,but I did not know if they did it on men also .My hair is also has color and so I was still not sure .But I said I should go at least for a consultation.I was pleased with what I heard on consultation so I decided to do it. Peter Louis is Amazing – I was recommended to Peter Louis by my brother's girlfriend from LA and boy was she right. Peter has changed my life with his Japanese Straightening. My Regular stylist had recommended not to do it but now he says my hair looks amazing better than it ever did and I save an hour each day blowdrying!!
Genoveva and Peter – I have been to many places in New York City to get my hair done ,I always like to try different stylists ,but now my search is over .I stopped at Peter Louis Salon where I did receive indeed a great service . Not only the stylists do hair ,but they treat it as an art .Peter is a great haircutter and Genoveva does wonderful color and I also looked at her portofolio with extensions clients.They look great . I'm very pleased with this new place and they will have me a client for life.
I have been a client of Rosalba for 10 years and think she is absolutely great. She is highly skilled, personable, warm and trustworthy. It is very hard to find a stylist with these qualities and do not see myself with another hair stylist as long as she is working.
