I've seen Dr. Farmer for the last couple years - mostly cleanings, x-rays, routine exams, whitening, and a couple of small fillings. He is thorough and very attentive, a little on the meticulous side - which in a dentist is a good thing. The exams take a little longer than I'm used to, but you feel like you're getting good service. He's also pretty friendly, and wants to make you as comfortable as possible - checks in regularly to make sure you're feeling okay. I've been quite satisfied.
It's only my general fear and loathing of dentists and all things dental that prompts me to write this review: Dr. Farmer, his staff, and outstanding hi-tech facilitiy may well have contributed to my most positive experience in a dental chair to date. Over two visits I received a thorough exam, cleaning, and x-rays followed by a filling. High-tech facilities, but some of his staff are incompetent with regard to their use -- having to do repeated x-rays of the same shot; in general I feel like his office's reliance high-tech approach comes at some cost to skill. He also is extremely pushy about what needs to be done and ordering every single possible test and shot x-ray shot possible, even called me later in the day to push for me to schedule my next appointment, and this all comes across as scrounging for money -- never something I like to see in my dentist,... read more
I have never received such outstanding Dental care. The facilities are top notch, the staff is wonderful (they took time to review my insurance and help me understand my benefits and make sure that I would be under no financial strain). Dr. Farmer may well be the best dentist I have ever seen. Very Highly reccomended!
