I was extremely shocked by his refusal to take responsibility for shockingly bad dental work, done by his business in Daly City at Campus Heights Dental. The office there told me the dentists were independent contractors, then the dentists said they were employees and not responsible. No offer to replace a bridge that failed after only 3 years and no reimbursement. No explanation for the root canal and cap that were done on a healthy molar. Overall Invisalign experience was unpleasant. He did not ensure I was satisfied with the design of the Invisalign clincheck before ordering all the trays. He was late over an hour twice and did not appear for an appointment once and had little time during the apointments. I felt patient concerns were only secondary to their financial interests in this office.
Dr. Peter Farmer and his crew of extreemly helpful and competent staff are an example of supurb professionalism. Here is what is so great about going to see Dr. Farmer. 1. He cares about your teeth and listens to your needs. 2. He makes sure you are comfortable in the office and out of the office if you are in pain! 3. If (like me) you have severe issues with your teeth/gums he will evaulate your teeth in the most comprehensive way that i have ever expierenced in my lifetime. Unorganized, "1hr-waiting for each appointment", "never-having-any-record-of-it-on-file," "not-answering-their-phones-for-a-WEEK!" kind of place.
Dr. Farmer is ROCKS! I enjoy going to his office. He has great bed side manner. He has the latest dental technology has to offer. Dr. Farmer makes sure you are comfortable and encourages you to learn to "listen" to your body and your mouth and gums to keep you healthy. Everyone I recommend to Dr. Farmer loves the experience. Going to the dentist is fun now!
I saw Dr. Farmer after not seeing a dentist for a while. He created a comprehensive plan for me, did a great job on all the services his office provided (cleanings, fillings) and helped me find an Oral surgeon. My visits to his office were all pleasant, and all the staff members are very friendly and helpful.
I had put off going to the dentist for about seven years, not because of lack of insurance, but because of potential pain of dentistry. After receiving recommendation from a co-worker for Dr. Farmer's painless dentistry, I decided to give him a try. I could not have made a better decision! Dr. Farmer and his techs have gentle bedside manners and and a light touch. I would recommend him to anyone who hasn't gone to the dentist for years for fear of .. anything.

Dr Peter Farmer is a wonderful dentist. He is talented and hands-on and has always left my smile looking good. I have not had any work done-just cleanings-but they have been pain-free andcomplete. He has a friendly and relaxing staff and a nice location in the Castro area
