I am completely disappointed in, not only this Petco, but Petco as a whole. I have been told that they have cut their relationship with, in my opinion, one of the best shelters in Missouri - Diana's Grove. This shelter does more than any shelter I know of to save dogs from euthanization and make sure that dogs in their care find the best homes possible. I have adopted one of my dogs from them and she was treated with the utmost care and love. Diana's Grove deserves all the assistance and support in the world. Petco, I hope y... read more

If they are getting complaints of Diana's Grove bringing in and adopting out sick animals, they made the right choice. Every dog that steps foot in that store has a chance of catching whatever illnesses the DG are bringing in. Petco made a tough decision but they are a business and they are trying to protect the countless dogs that come to their store everyday. People need to stop whining about it. Petco is an awesome store. I also want to thank them for banning Diana's Grove from their St Louis stores. Being involved in rescue, I am appalled at what they do not only to the dogs in their care but all the others that come into your stores.

This a wonderful small location. Being a business one must be responsible for the safety of all those that visit. Diana's Grove unfortunately, did not uphold the safety and vetting standard one would expect and threatened public safety. I and most others will continue to support this decision and would also like to encourage better protocols for the rescue and their pets.

Thank you for making the ethically correct decision.

I too had a friend adopt a puppy from there only to have to return it a week later because he became ill. I really feel bad for these dogs, but it is not fair to pay an adoption fee, then have a vet bill or emergency vet bill a week after adoption.
