Great for supportive needs!
They are helpful. Nice location. There’s an arts and crafts group. I would love a group where all we talked about is book, authors, movies, etc. I have a camera and microphone equipment if you ever need me to film an event let me know
How wonderful to have an organization with such longevity devoted to our community, its education and its well-being.
I agree with the criticism regarding Persad's new ties with the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh.
I use the Washington satellite branch and have had an amazing experience. The therapist is amazing. If you use Persad for therapy, therapy oy works if you are willing to work on yourself.
Went years ago for classes and they were pretty decent. Recently asked them for a referral for a therapist who would treat for DNR program. They gave me Taffi Bucci, who never told me that her policy was that I had to have 90 days clean time. So not knowing that, I went and poured my heart out for an hour reliving my history only to be turned away from continued therapy.
