Wanted to make a statement as a warning to others. We signed a contract for a pole building, last November county came out for permits, in spring found wet lands behind us an runoff coming through our property, after the 2nd person coming out to look an saying we needed to have the wetlands marked an located at a cost of unknown amount we decided to build building that do not require permits through permabilt. Well that cost was more than the original building. So we cancelled the permits an contract. Not knowing nor were we... read more

Business response:

During the permitting process a site visit was conducted by Snohomish County. During this site visit, the inspector identified a potential seasonal wetland on the property. Per Snohomish County Code a Wetland Delineation would be required to be completed by a professional. The customer stated that he didn’t want to pay to delineate the wetland. PermaBilt informed the customer that in his zoning in Snohomish County accessory buildings up to 400 square feet could be built without a permit and therefore would not require the de... read more

I am very pleased with my 36X52 building. Everyone at Town & Country Permabilt was very helpful through the entire process from beginning to end. The construction crew was very professional. They did an excellent job and kept me informed of what they would be doing at all times and cleaned up the site when they were finished. I would definitely recommend.

Business response:

We really appreciate your feedback. Enjoy your building!

Although the permitting process took forever (though no fault of Town & Country), once the work began, it went well. Being winter time and the holiday season, it took a bit longer than originally anticipated to complete my building, but the delays were all understandable. My punch list ended up with a single item on it, which seems pretty darn good to me. Overall, a job well done.

Business response:

You have been a pleasure to work with! We hope you enjoy your building and sincerely appreciate your business.

Company started the project when they said they would. This is a very busy company so expect a 6 month window after you have your site ready. The 24 X 36 ft shop structure was up in a week and the concrete floor started the following week. Craftsmen were easy to deal with and skilled. Great addition to my property and will add value.

Business response:

Thank you for your business and enjoy your new building.

Finished product quality is very good for our new 36x38 pole building. Once construction started, it progressed fairly rapidly over about a month period from dug holes, framing, siding and roofing, door, window, slab and garage doors. I did initiate some coordination to smooth the process, as being in the construction industry, there are always hiccups in every build. Nothing major, but I would recommend regular status updates with the customer throughout the process. Construction crew was friendly and when I texted or calle... read more

We love our barn! The crew that constructed it was very skilled and very professional. The only issue we had/have with Town and Country is their sales. For being the #1 sales person for the company, we found the promises our salesman made regarding timing totally false. If your completion date is important to you, get it in writing as repetitive verbal agreements are worthless.

Business response:

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and apologize if our building representative didn’t properly convey our policy of not guaranteeing start dates. You have a beautiful building that we know you will enjoy for years to come.
