Great brunch – I've been here twice for brunch and the place has been great both times. The omelets are a perfect texture. Make sure to order sides--the main course comes unaccompanied. The fruit is especially fresh and diverse and the toast is fancier than you'll find for most brunches. Nice, attentive service too.

High-quality food and service without the high drama – My friend and I went to Perilla on a Friday night--early--as reservations can be hard to get. We were greated warmly and seated immediately upon arrival. We ordered glasses of rose wine to start, after our server offered us a sample. The wine was perfect for a warm summer evening. The menu isn't extensive, but since this is a relatively new restaurant, perhaps it shouldn't be. I had the pork belly appetizer, which was outstanding--crispy on the outside and juicy and tast... read more

awesome meal – this place was great! went here for an anniversary with my boyfriend because i am a huge top chef fan. we had the duck meatballs (great) the bison loin tataki (great) for apps. next we had the duckling, ravioli, and faro risotto all three were great (esp. the risotto). for dessert we had the doughnuts (they were good, somewhat forgettable, but good). the wine and service was excellent. i would highly recommend this place to anyone. the noise may be an issue but it's expected for such a popular place. please go... read more

Fun space, terrific Food, drinks, and atmosphere – I typically don't write reviews of restaurants, but I had to do put a few words about this place. It was surprising to be welcomed on a Saturday night - late in the evening, with no reservation. Me and my fiancee sat down and we had the duck meatballs and the octopus. Both were literally amazing - nicely seasoned, nothing to be changed at all. Our server wasn't pushy or interrupting at all - just timely in his words to us and his service. She had the pork while I had the han... read more

Good, but Forget the Entrees and bring Eearplugs – The duck meatballs are AMAZING, as advertised. The artichoke and fava bean salad was very good, as was the banana tart. Nice vodka selection, and a good wine list at reasonable prices. Service is excellent, but you'll have trouble hearing your server and vice versa. My date and I are into Interpol too, but the music is too damned loud for the space. The biggest disappointment is the entrees. The entrees are awful and unimaginative. The roast duck was undercooked and tough. M... read more

Great morning after brunch spot. – I love this place. I know I am biased since I literally am on the same block. I walked in on a sunday at around noon and it was filled perfectly, not empty but not packed, so I don't think you need a reservation for brunch. The menu is small but adequate and everything is delicious, including the selection of wines by the glass. I would definitely recommend as a place to have an intimate brunch.

Excelent food, great service and cute place! – This place is amazing and I highly recommend it. Low key, casual with great food. The pork belly appetizer was amazing as were the entrees we ordered. High quality, full of flavor and beautifully presented. A must try!

Great find! And we love Harold too!!!! – Went to Perilla on Monday night and it was packed. I made a reservation and we were seated immediately in a great booth. The waiter was very helpful with suggestions about the menu and wines - great wine list - we had a tasty bottle of red for only $36. We tried to sample a good part of the menu - the hanger steak was perfect. Someone in our group got the gruper and said it was delicious. I had the eggplant cannelloni and it was very crative and tasty too. The sides were great too - t... read more
