called for an appointment to have my car diagnosed due to the check engine light coming on randomly the employee who answered the phone was very sarcastic and rude. As someone who works in retail last time i checked thats not a way to provide good customer service.

I was in NY visiting my mom in the hospital when my battery died. Picked up a new battery at Pep Boys on Jericho right before closing. It was a pain to start after install, I'm lucky I made it back to KY and again it won't start. Brought it to my local mechanic thinking it was the alternator. Repeated testing showed its the battery. Thanks for nothing Pep Boys, you don't even have a location near me to return your POS battery.

I (used to) buy my motor oil from them three gallons at a time, because that's how much my truck takes. When you go to dispose of the used oil, they only take back five quarts at a time. When I called Pep Boys customer relations to ask them if they could change their policy based on the amount of oil purchased, they hung up on me.

The thing about the Pepboys in Commack, NY, is that they never don't have your back. Any shoddy work or warrantee issues are taken care of without an argument. They know that customer satisfaction is #1!!!!!!!
