Today I went to 3 different places to get my battery changed. One was closed and the other two were not very friendly and seemed over priced. So I went to Pep Boys in Clermont. Azeez and Carlos both greeted me at the service station. They were friendly and quick to help me. When it came time to quote a price they gave me the best deal possible taking into account what the other places quoted me and trying to help me save some money for the battery. I had a major problem with Pep Boys here on Hook Rd. in Clermont. I was not at all happy with the mechanic working on my vehicle. what started out as a 4 or 5 hour job turned into a 6 1/2 hour deal, then overnight and most of the next day. However, Chris, the new manager took things in hand and bent over backwards to make it right. He turned a bad start into a much better ending. Trying to rip me off. Told me $397 for a remanufactured compressor and $457 for new
Hands down one of the worst service experiences ever. I would not recommend them for anything. As a former ASE Master Service Technician I am appalled at their lack of professionalism.
Don't bother getting there after 715 pm. They close at 8 but won't even look at a nail in a tire.
They are horrible, I believe that they took advantage of me as a black female and I intend to call the corporate office and if they don't take care of my problem, then I am going to the news.
waiting 2 1/2 hours for a oil change is a bit ridiculous!
