Had a vehicle towed to Pep Boys on Carlisle Pike two months ago and they installed a new battery. Two months later the "new' battery is dead.
I scheduled an appointment online for 5pm. I have a confirmation email and everything. Get to the store and am basically told that my online appointment means nothing, and maybe they'll get to my truck at 6:30. I had to rush to rearrange my entire evening for that appointment. Obviously, no one cares, and no one apologized or even attempted to make it right. I'll take my truck and my money elsewhere from now on.

Carlisle Pike store is terrible. no customer service. i was at register with a purchase waiting to check out, there was no cashier. people from service department walked by and didn't acknowledge me nor did they get anyone to come to the register. after nearly 10 minutes I threw my purchase down on the counter and walked out. with so many other auto parts store that value their customers, there is no need to ever return to pep boys.
My husband had an appointment scheduled at 10am on Sunday Father’s day at that. Again I say a “scheduled” appointment. By 1pm I texted him to see what was going on and he said they hadn’t even pulled his car into the shop. Hadn’t told him a thing. My husband is more patient then I am. I had 4 new tires installed, an oil change, and my inspection completed today. Customer service was fantastic, and everything was explained to me. Cannot beat the price. Will absolutely return again. Thank you to everyone who helped out today!
My boyfriend came here one time for his suv, and screwed him over. They keep telling him one thing but in the end do something else and charge something else. But then we decided to do another vehicle here again and once again they screw us over. If you want the job done right and pay a fair price do not go here!
How do I pick my car up from inspection and it’s missing a hubcap? You can break things and not be responsible for it?
