Ron wrote up my service order. He told me the manufacturer recommends synthetic oil which I agreed to. Then I was called I told it needed front brakes & an alignment which I also agreed to. Came in to pick up the car & the oil change was approx $25 more, when I asked why he said he wrote it up wrong on the service order, then I asked where the front end alignment was on the paperwork he said he forgot to have the mechanic do it & that I would need to bring it back!!! I made an appt for an oil change at 3pm. They tell me they are running behind and won't be able to get to my vehicle for 1.5 hrs. OK.... So now its 5:30 pm....
Came in for a brake change, front.. After 3 hours of waiting, they tell me I need front pads and resurface my rotors. Which will take another 2 hours. Great Pepboys look's like I'm spending my Friday here with you guys. 5 hours for front pads....
They suck at customer service and tell you what you wanna hear yet do not follow through. Obviously not enough people to work on the cars either and could care less about your time ..just what ever works for them ! Oh your car will get done ..but on there time . Okay so choose wisely especially if your military and have other priorities to attend to but need a car repair , they don't care. Go somewhere else is your best bet !
They wanted to charge me $30 to change two bulbs; front left turn & Fog Light on my Toyota 4Runner. It takes about 5 minutes for the entire procedure. I bought the bulbs from them and whn I did so the sales lady asked me to take them to the service desk for instllation, but when the Service Desk clerk told me that it will cost me $30 I was flabbergusted, as I thought it was a courtesy service since I bought the bulbs from them, but $30 for a 5 minute job; give me a Break Pep Boys; you are rip off artists.
My husband went in for a promotional break service they were offering. Not only did they refuse the promotion, but after doing a 2 hour "inspection" on my car, it now has several issues it did not have prior to taking it in. Thanks Pep boys for leaving a mother of 3 with a non operating vehicle
My car is happy again! Ruben and Jeff were great! I take my car here for routine maintenance and repairs. I'm always pleased with the work. Thanks Pep Boys!
The people working in parts rock! (Bill helped me with a battery today). Also, the cashiers have been great I live 1 mile from this store and I am in there multiple times each month as I have 4 cars! Had to write a review as they are way above the 3 stars I saw online here! MilesK
