I had a blown tire that I had bought out if state at a different Pep Boys. They went to extra mile to get it replaced, and also sorted out an issue with the road hazard insurance to make sure I got it for a fair price. I was really impressed with how helpful and easy to work with this location was
My husband called to have new tires put on. On the phone they said they could put them on today, no problem. He immediately drove there, and where he was at at that time was only 15-20 minutes away. He checked in with the person at the desk, they took his information and keys and everything seemed good to go. After he browsed around for 15-20 minutes the guy came out and said they wouldn’t have time to service the truck today even though there were still time left for them to be open. Set up an appointment for 10 am this morning. Showed up at 9:45 am. Upon arriving, i was told my appointment did not exist. Then...magically it appeared. Waited til around 11 am then was told the tires i ordered were not in stock. Waited 20 minutes until someone tried to relocate them. Then they magically appeared. Then was told alignment was not on my order when i knew with my oil change total should be around $600. Fussed with service manager. I scheduled an oil change in advance for 1:00. At 3:15, I returned, having not heard from the store. I found my car in the exact same spot. Not only had no services been performed, but no one had called me to let me know. I asked for my keys and was told I wouldn't have any luck anywhere else. I get that wait times vary depending on a lot of variables, but over two hours for a scheduled oil change and the car wasn't even on a lift, nor was i called as a courtesy? Pep Boys will NEVER have to worry about seeing my pan face EVER again. Front tire to the ground flat. Got there at 5:58 pm. Dude says they aren't taking any more customers and he's trying to hurry up and wrap up. I asked can I at least use their hydraulic jack cause mine was manual and would take a while. Dude says no they couldn't lend it to me, which I just wanted to use it while they were present or one of them could have simply jacked me up. The customer service was poor. I sat there for 2 1/2 hours for an oil change.
Brian took care of me from the beginning to the end with excellent customer services, very patient, Informative,very friendly and highly recommend!!!
