Our check engine light came on while we were traveling, and Pep Boys was able to get us in right away, and get our issue resolved quickly. I appreciate the quick service!

I would have clicked zero stars if there was a button. Absolutely horrible. I had my oil changed and my fuel injectors cleaned and they did a brake checked and did not tell me that my flexible brake line was cracked and I had my 4year old niece in the car with me tonight and my brakes went out going down a hill, I had to use my emergency brake in order to keep us safe. I had a genuine problem, my car wouldn’t start. I got it towed to their location because it was the closest at the time. They got my car to work apparently by switching out the distributor cap/rotor, ($183), next they say I need new spark plugs because the old ones had oil on em when I tried starting the vehicle ($231). Then they say 2 belts and 2 alternator hoses need replacing because i have a coolant leak/ along with a coolant flush, ($523 ) + taxes = Pretty much a grand for very basic work. I originally went in with a $600 quote, by the end of the day they said they found additional repairs that needed immediate attention which then made the bill go up to $1200. My car still had issues, so I bring it back and they charge me another $400 for new things that could be causing the problems. This is the worst car service I've ever had.
