They could start by telling the truth. I was told I needed brakes and it was going to cost between 600.00 and 900.00 to have fixed. I received a second opinion and I didn't need anything.
I had a tire that kept going flat. I thought I needed a new tire, but they were honest and said the could repair it. Thank you so much!!

If anyone is ever looking for a place to get their car worked on for anything I recommend Pep Boys in Portage. I came in thinking my breaks where my issue for what was going on with my car before my move to Florida, it was a whole other issue! The guys here have gone out of their way to make sure I get all I need and could keep within a budget, they’ve been amazing! I got new back breaks and drums yesterday. They work awesome. One recommendation is the waiting room is awe full! Chairs are hard plastic chairs and there is no separate waiting room, so you are in the store and everyone can see you.
These guys are awesome. Honest and reliable. Dylan was attentive to my cars needs.I strongly recommend to anyone who needs automobile tires or service. Definitely will return to this location.
I was nervous after seeing all the negative reviews but I’m glad I went. I needed a new car battery. I made an appointment and I was in and out of there in one hour flat! Customer service was great.
