BIG Rip off......DO NOT SHOP on them. 3.6 hour job by book , they change for 6 hours (Only change a water pump) calls for over $ 800 USD with the part only $176 USD. Never go to Pep Boy. Unless you enjoy bring rip off.
Do not go here! Especially if you're not from the Chicago area. I recently had to take a car here, and they tried to take me for a ride! I got two versions of what was wrong and the process that would be involved. The final story was that our head gasket and engine head would need to be fixed. And that it would cost more than the car was worth! Ended up transporting it via trailer to our local place, and that wasn't what was wrong at all. It was just the thermostat! DO NOT GO HERE! YOU'LL GET RIPPED OFF!
My husband bought spark plugs, wrong spark plugs in the sealed box and Pep Boys says oh well! What happened to standing behind your product. Shame on Pep Boys
