Dropped off my car for what I thought would be a quick battery change at a scheduled appointment (they had 'free' installation) . After an hour and 20 minutes I asked what the progress was, they answered..."we had a hard time locating the battery". If any of my friends plan on taking their vehicle to Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service here in Round Lake Beach, DO NOT LET Doug Clark WORK ON IT. THIS GUY OVER CHARGED ME BY $500+ FOR LABOR THAT DID NOT GET DONE ON MY DURAMAX. He looked me in the eyes and told me he spent 3 hour and 20 minutes ($379.50 I JUST IN LABOR) dropping my fuel tank to fit my rear brake lines AND WHEN I LOOKED, THERE WAS STILL DIRT CONNECTING FROM THE WASHER TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN. Great service, they don't sell you things you don't need. Lot of negative posts but that's probably just because happy people don't care to leave feedback.
horrible went their to get tires they ruined my alignment and cracked a rim and they are giving me a hard time and keep trying to blame me for everything they did.
