Highly Recommended by a Happy & Cool Homeowner After years of constant struggles with the HVAC systems within our home, we found John Wolcott @ PIC. We are grateful to have found him 3+yrs ago. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GUY! I would NOT recommend this company. After having spent $6,500 on 2 new hvac units with John, he took 4 months and 3 trips to finally diagnose the problem (a leak on the condenser coil) and then sent a subcontractor to do the repair. The sub did shoddy work which caused a huge leak in our system that came through the ceiling and required removing a 3 ft.x 3 ft. section of drywall and a huge mess. The sub only paid $125 of a $200 drywall/paint repair bill and was a big jerk about it. John said he w... read more

Diamond in the Rough! Best HVAC guy I've ever dealt with: knows equipment and doesn't try to rip you off. He installed a 4 ton Nordyne package unit and an inline humidifier in our house. John got us a great deal on the unit. I did some checking on Nordyne because I'd never heard of them. They make units for several of the big names and have the best warranty going. The unit gets rave reviews on the net. I would highly recommend John and his company to anyone looking for a service tech or an installation.

This guy's the best and most honest! My AC went out. I had two other local repair cos. come out first. One co. came out 3 times and charged $100 to show up each time and would get it going - sorta each time - for a couple hundred more to recharge the line so it would run for about a week. The 4th time they came out is when they wanted to sell me a $4000 unit - which was way out of my budget. The second didn't really look at the unit and was giving me a real deal at $3500. John got me up and running. During a recent heatwave my A/C blew-up. The electric relay fried in my service pack and a leak formed in the line. John worked diligently to get the A/C back in good shape and cooling the house. He spent the entire day tracing parts and recharging the system. Best there is! We have worked with this company several times over the last few years and never been disappointed. John, the owner, is a down to earth guy and will give you the best deal for your money that he can. He explains everything and advises you as to what you need as if you were his relative. He is thorough, trustworthy and honest. He is the kind of guy you feel like you've known your whole life! Highly recommend this company! We wouldn't trust anyone else after having worked with him!
