I guess I should have known better. The truck I bought and had delivered ( yes i know, what a dumbass buying a truck without driving it) only had 60,000 miles. The front end needs rebuilt, cracked door hinge, chipped windshield, wires hanging down from the box, etc, etc. PLEASE save yourself the misery and bite the bullet and buy a new one... I wish I had.
Save yourself a headache........The worst experience ever. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! Purchasing a truck from Penske was the worst mistake we made in our 15 years trucking experience. First of all they sold us a truck with too many issues and we had to take it back to their shop 3 times within a week. I have not yet had a good experience with Penske, Two Times...I pay for my TRUCK over a month ago and still have not received delivery of my truck, Bad for business
I recently purchased a 26ft box truck from Penske that they claim was "Premium". I didnt have this truck more than a week when the check engine light came on and the front head light was out. The head light was an electrical issue because the bulb was good. When I opened up the headlight area I could smell something burning and tell it had been rigged and was not the original set up. I was going to purchase a truck from Penske but backed out after their lengthy process got even longer with three different people involved. I was financing through my credit union, I asked four times for the truck information and the information for the title and never got it. They claimed they couldn't get though to USAA. Ha! They wanted a contact person which USAA does not have. Giving my number opens all the doors. I will never call Penske again! Please stay away!
