I came to the E.R. a couple of day's ago. After my vital signs were taken I was sent back out to the waiting room. I went to use the bathroom out there. There wasn’t any toilet paper in there, the floor and sink was filthy with trash all on the floor. After waiting not too long to be called back a nurse had to put a I.V. line in my arm and draw blood. That area was filthy as well. The floor was so dirty with bits of trash also on the floor. I came in yesterday for severe cramping all over my body because I was dehydrated. I had to constantly keep telling the staff what happened as if intakes notes weren’t accessible to all the staff for some odd reason. One of the nurses (his name was Cody) that was assigned to me was extremely passive aggressive to the point I nearly walked out the hospital entirely to seek treatment elsewhere. Went in for a mild heart attack. Nurses and Doctors were top notch. Phlebotomist could have been better.

I do not like this hospital went downhill in recent years disorangized ,problematic staff,and generally a bad choice out of the local hospitals available

I was recently in Pennsylvania Hospital for emergency back surgery. I can't say enough about the wonderful care I received from my Doctors, nurses and especially everyone on Cathcart 7! Thank you very much for your concern and support when I was in so much pain. Pennsylvania Hospital is the place to go for excellence in health care!
