On August 10th, I was transported by ambulance to the Hershey Medical Center after my local hospital decided they were not comfortable operating on a pregnant woman with appendicitis. From the minute I arrived at the Hershey Medical Center I felt like the many doctors, surgeons, and nurses who were in and out of my room truly cared about me and my unborn child. I only wish my mother in law had this kind of care before the kind of care she had that landed her here. Everyone has been so kind to her something she was not used to. She's changed into a clean gown every day and they washed her hair they've been doing everything they can to make her comfortable as per her wishes. She just wanted to be done So thank IMCU and now 5th floor. She looks very comfortable �. TONY AND SHERRI
I had DBS surgery for Parkinsons 2 years ago and now need my battery replaced and wouldn't go anywhere else. Great Hospital
Fantastic hospital. The staff is wonderful. My granddaughter had surgery, stayed the night and now staying another day. The design of this facility is incredible. No wonder it has a top rating in the country.
This place should be a shamed of them self to be called a children's hospital. The miscommunication between staffing results in an unprofessional environment that was inconsiderate to me and my child needs for his surgery. This place did not take any consideration of his autism or his ADHD nor were they prepared and had any plan for this surgery and overnight stay that we had to take being that they are the only pediatric unit that does this in my area. Amazing in all categories. Top knotch facility. So Generous
Not happy with parking for the weekend I had to have my 81 yr old aunt walk 2 blocks from the parking garage to the hospital entrance because the shuttle doesn't run on the weekends during the daylight hours. And you couldn't drop off people at the entrance because it was closed to traffic but the doctors are great and the nurses and other staff
