RecommendedIn November I went through the multi-step process of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery performed at your hospital by Dr. James McInerney from the Neuro-Surgery Department. The entire experience from the lunch and learns, evaluations and approval to the surgical procedures were handled just great. Was recently there at the emergency room for flank pain, bloody urine, and unable to urinate. The emergency department staff were so attentive and informative of what was going on with me and the next steps to take, the OR team was fantastic along with the urologist the post OP nurses and all of the other nurses/ doctors who looked after me were simply amazing and kind hearted I couldn’t ask for a better experience with being admitted to a hospital for the first time.
The Sleep Center is either short of staff or??? My experiences with them, and the Aero company they deal with , have been D at best. Also, never connected with a Dr. there. For example, last Fri. Left a detailed message with a helpful male who returned my call. Was to go to Donna. No word. Called again on Monday. Received a message this am from a Kim who said she was calling about my CPAC problems. Where were the details?? Sorry, not calling back. No faith in the service. Will find some one else to help with sinus issues.

Absolutely recommend. I was there 2 days ago vomiting blood and having abdominal pain and bladder problems. Usually, when I tell people my issues they discount me or not really listen. They were so kind and caring. It took them a little but they figured out it was an infection in my abdominal area and possibly my bladder I was cathed and sent home. Love the children's ward. They had such love and care for my boy! As well as me when I was a child staying there! Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who make it easier for children to be happy and comfortable during their stay!
My granddaughter had open heart surgery when she was 3 days old. She needed an arotic arch transplant to save her life. She was born without the arotic arch. This surgery was perfected at Hershey Medical Center. The year was 1991 and Sabrina spent much of her life in and out of the hospital, at age 28 we lost this special angel. We will always remember how she never gave up, until her lungs had exhausted her fight for life. We thank the doctors for giving us 28 years with Sabrina.
