I've delivered three children with Penn Medicine.
My wife went through Pennsylvania Hospital for her pregnancy with our son. They were great up until we found out our son may have Down syndrome. After that, the care for my wife and our child became below the bare minimum, resulting in the stillbirth of our son. Do not go here!!
If your baby is expected to have chromosomal abnormalities, do NOT go here!! After finding out my son was expected to have trisomy 21, they pushed for me to abort him on multiple different occasions solely for a higher probability of T21, multiple different doctors and staff. Even after a note was put in my chart to stop asking if I want to abort him because I do NOT, I was asked again and again if I’m aborting and given false information about my sons probable future to try to make me feel guilty for continuing my pregnancy... read more
I've delivered three children with Penn Medicine (2019, 2021, and 2025), deemed high-risk for all of them. I’ve become very familiar with the process from 32 weeks to delivery at 39 weeks (including bi-weekly NSTs and weekly ultrasounds) I can attest that Penn Medicine provides excellent care. Just had a pretty deflating experience here as I was receiving a 32-week ultrasound scan for my first baby. We were told by many friends, family, and medical professionals that getting a 32-week scan can be really exciting and emotional (especially, when you’re going through pregnancy for the first time).
