Beenaroundthefertilityblock Much like others I want to give a split review. The offices at 3701 probably deserve two stars, while the auxiliary offices of Drs. Edward and Kalra deserve excellent ratings. Penn is running a baby factory at 3701. So, you will get technically great care, but it will be impersonal -- the nature of a high-volume business. The auxiliary office is everything that 3701 is not. Personalized care. The staff know your name, are warm, and Drs. Edward/Kalra spend time with you/return calls, etc. So, if yo... read more

NO STARS!! Ratings are rigged I would NOT RECOMMEND this practice to anyone. As I have become more educated about infertility I realized just how awful this place is. The nurses are nasty, unprofessional and incompetent. I had to undergo a test at Penn and was never told that it was extremely painful and when I mentioned this to Dr. Edward's nurse I got nasty earful from her. They mixed up my husband's sperm with another man's right before my IUI because they "forgot" to put labels on the samples. He had to leave an importan... read more

Penn Fertility Care is great! I can also understand the frustration of some of the other reviewers. It's a big clinic and the office at 3701 Market can be a bit like a zoo, particularly on the weekends when all the patients are routed there. Still, I'm willing to put up with the madness in order to have access to a first class facility.

horrible service unprofessional ICSI/IVF paient : i agree with the above review... docs see u for max 5 mins..never answer questions on phone or otherwise.. have to meet in person every time ... so that they can get paid their hefty fees. noone calls back on time, nurses keep changing...patient made to run from one person to another wasting precious time ..months at a time.. no clear info given about the formalities, procedures or fees... u always have to talk to yet ''another person'' every single time...no coordination ...... read more

HORRIBLE PATIENT CARE Well, I registered with insider pages just so I can post this review. If I wasn't bound to use this place by my insurance company, I would have left ages ago. In a year of care, I've seen my doctor 3 times. I have never talked to my nurse, nor will she return any of my phone calls. I called 8am this morning and was on hold until 8:30 when I hung up. Called at 1:30 today and at 2:10 someone got on the phone to transfer me into ANOTHER voice mail box. The doctors can be very cold (except for a few) and on... read more

Very professional clinic I go to Dr. Coutifaris only as a regular Obgyn patient. The office is very soothing, the wait is short, the staff intelligent and kind. They call in your prescriptions right away and getting an appointment does not involve a 5 months wait. The only thing that I don't like is that they have too many interns and you really never get to talk to the doctor. The interns are not so knowledgeable or fast. But I think this has become a very common practice in all hospitals these days.
