The check-in person was extremely helpful and reassuring about the care of my nervous dog. He took me in the back to show me where Teddy would be staying. He gave me the information for the Webcam. When I returned, Teddy was happy and healthy and looked great. All my concerns were answered, and I could tell they truly care about their "guests" at Pender. Compliments to the staff--you're doing a fantastic job!!!
RecommendedWe are long time customers of Pender Pet Retreat. Our three dogs have very different personalities with different needs and the folks at Pender work very well with them all. The dogs are always happy to go and don’t even look back at us! If your dog needs medical attention (we often get our routine checkups done), Dr Hendrickson is thorough, professional and communicative. We bring our dry food premeasured during holiday times as it really helps them out. We can go out of town and not worry about the pups.
I use Pended for boarding and veterinary care and have alway been satisfied with the service.
We have brought our dog Ginger for quite a long time and have been happy with the care Ginger received. Very friendly pet loving people. New services that have lately been added add to there appeal.
We Have always had a good experience with our dogs. We have been customers for over 30 years !
We've been taking Lucy, our Golden Retriever, to Pender ever since she was a pup. She always comes home happy and with a good report card. Our previous Golden, Maddie, also went to Pender for 11 years. Never had a problem. The staff is friendly and I always feel like Lucy gets a lot of attention. Highly recommend this place.
We've been trusting our dogs to Pender Vets since the late eighties and their Pet Retreat facility since they opened. As the years pass, it gets harder to leave our pets when we travel, so it becomes more important that they get a little extra pampering themselves. Never an issue, and we'll use Pender/Dulles Gateway as long as we live in the area.
Between the facilities and the people this is a wonderful place!!! And Michael is a phenomenal trainer! And having a veterinarian on staff at the facility is the icing on the cake!
