Recommendedmy dogs always leave happy and tired. the facility is always clean and the staff are nice.
I have been boarding my dogs at Pender back when they were Dulles-Gateway Boarding Kennels. I think they are the best facility around. Dogs get great care by people who love dogs--you can tell! I highly recommend them.
My dog gets anxious in new environments, but the staff at Pender Pet Retreat was very accommodating and really connected with him. We will definitely bring him back for future stays!
Very nice and helpful people, they do not turn away your pet, can do training during daycare, and no need to schedule daycare days, vaccines can be done during their stay and no need for any extra visits.
Nory is always happy at Pender and she hugs and kisses to the person who brings her to me wen I pick her up , that’s tells me that they care for her and give her the necessary attention while she is there, she is being going to Pender for 11 years already , thanks everyone 😊
Everyone you deal with is so genuinely caring about the animals. They understand how stressful separation is for both the human and pet and go out of their way to make it as smooth and uneventful as possible.
I take all our cats and dog to Pender. The Drs are awesome. And my puppy loves the daycare and boarding as he gets to play with many other friendly and playful pups. He gets the best care while there and I can even pop in and watch him via the webcams. Highly recommend Pender Pet Retreat.
Reilly was so clean and beautiful after his day at the spa! He is well taken care of, as he should be!
I took my nervous rescue Dachshund, Shadow, to doggy day care for the first time yesterday and was very impressed. The facility is lovely and the staff was wonderful! Shadow gets nervous and shy in new places and all the staff worked hard to engage him and comfort him. He will definitely be going back.
