Very pleased with this place. Every time we called (which was everyday haha) the staff was very polite and helpful. Einstein had his pictures taken and was very spoiled while we were on vacation. Einstein has stage 5 heart murmur and takes three different medications daily. Pender Pet Retreat followed all of our instructions with no problem and our baby didn't have any medical problems while being there! Definitely recommend this awesome place to everyone! ☺
Pender is the BEST! They are fantastic at handling our energetic pup and we always know she is in great hands. We have boarded our 4 year old dog here numerous times and she is always happy at drop off and pick up. Thank you to the Pender staff for taking such good care of Dixie!
It's weird that all these bad reviews have popped on within a couple days of each other. My dog has always gotten excellent care here. The staff is wonderful and caring.
I've been taking my dogs to Pender/Gateway off and on since 1997, and my main vet was located at this facility for several years. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I just had my shepherd there over Thanksgiving. He is not a big fan of kennels and can get very stressed when staying at a kennel. When I picked him up from Pender, he was much more calm and relaxed than when he's stayed at other places. And I think Pender is very reasonably priced compared to other similar kennels in the area.
We love Pender! Been bringing our babies here for years.
It was a very nice facility and the staff was super nice just not for my dog. I would recommend it to others my dog just doesn't like being confined that's all :)
This place is always Loving and Caring, a home away from home.
