Considering the reputation Pella has, I was shocked at how poor my experience was with them. I had a relatively simple (I thought) trapezoidal window replacement. I first contacted them in May 2019. Update: it’s been two weeks plus and crickets from the concerned, caring customer service team at Pella Denver. Why am I not surprised?? Project sales team was not responsive at all (IMO). Complete waste of my time.
RecommendedWe had a sliding glass door installed last year. We were so impressed with the results, this year we had all our windows replaced. What a difference! We instantly noticed the difference in quiet and insulation with the Pella windows. We were a little apprehensive about having French doors installed under "stay at home" orders, but all went well. The installers were courteous, knowledgeable, and capable. They installed our doors safely and cleaned up thoroughly. The doors themselves are gorgeous and we love leaving them open so we can see our patio and backyard. We are very pleased.
1) Let folks know their bays will come in multiple pieces. It cost much to assemble and we were told it would be one piece. 2) Send enough people to get your product out of the truck. 3) Mark bay frames with "This side is the top".
You get what you pay for with Pella; I am on my second project with them and their product, professionalism, installation, etc is top notch. The front door I had installed blew away my expectations. Eric Van Valkenburg helped me with my second project and was great to deal with. I would definitely recommend. I read the negative reviews and have just had the completely opposite experiences.
I had 5 Pella Windows installed today by Dustin, Dave, and Max with DB Carpentry. They did an outstanding job of arriving on time and being courteous, efficient and very considerate in not leaving any mess. The Pella windows are a vast improvement over the builder windows as far as ease of opening and insulation. I highly recommend the windows as well as the installers.
