We recently upgraded our windows. After much research, we decided to go with Pella, despite the fact that they were nearly double the cost of the cheapest quote. Almost all of the reviews were positive. The sales process was fine but rather long but once we had signed the deal and paid our money the games began. We ordered the Pella windows last week, and were guaranteed that they would come in 8 weeks at the most. Come to find out today, they are in conveniently behind and cannot guarantee that they will be delivered in even 10 weeks (meaning they will take longer than that!). Honestly I am very disappointed in their customer service too, the selling agent didn't even try to take it up the chain to see if there was a solution. I bought a condo back in 4-2014. There are two slider doors one upstairs in the master bedroom off my deck and a second one below the deck on the first floor off my living room. With time of owning the condo, I noticed my ceiling in my living room getting water damage and the paint was pulling away from the ceiling in three different spots. I finally found that the upstairs slider was leaking. We purchased a Pella sliding glass door through ******* in Nov. 2016. When the door was installed, we noticed a smudge in between the layers of glass. This smudge could have only occurred during the manufacture of the door. I'm disappointed that I spent thousands of dollars on a sliding glass door with an obvious and sloppy defect. It calls into question the entire manufacturing process.

Hi Milt, We have waited approximately 3 weeks to try out the replaced and adjusted PELLA windows , however they failed to open are in worse shape. The front windows can not open unless pulled and pushed from the outside and are unable to shut/close properly. We have been dealing with since early summer , can you direct us to the manager so we can have some proper windows ? I have spoken to reps and asked to replace the front windows with double hung, however they have not responded or complied , I think the windows are eit... read more
