Our entire staff is dedicated to providing excellent dental care for your child. Dr. "Buddy" was the first pediatric dentist to be accredited in the State of Mississippi at that time, and he's been caring for Coast kids from his Biloxi office since 1980. Dr. Jason Rector shares the passion for children's dental health and joined Dr. "Buddy" and his staff in August 2003. Today, the Pediatric Dental Specialists team has two offices to serve you, Biloxi and Ocean Springs.

Dr. McMurphy and all of the staff were wonderful with our daughter! Our daughter was so nervous, but Dr. McMurphy took the time to explain her procedure to her in terms she would understand (she’s 5) and let her touch/try out all the supplies and equipment. He was patient and answered all her questions and ensured her nerves were gone before starting the procedure. My husband and I were also able to be in the procedure room with her the entire time. Austin is a magician with kids and he is the best at communicating and making our little boy feel safe. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
My 8 year old had anxiety and asphyxiation issues from terrible experiences at Kool Smiles. We decided to go to Dr. Buddy's office after reading good reviews. My son needed 3 teeth pulled due to overcrowding and 2 small fillings. Dr. Austin explained things to him on a 1 on 1 level and assured him that everything would go at his pace, answered all his questions, and calmed all his fears.
