I wanted to reach out to you regarding a complaint I have for PEAK PROPERTIES. I live at * **** *** ******and Peak Properties took over our building right before the pandemic March 2020. (turned it from condos into rentals). They are one of the worst property management companies with many tenant complaints (Google reviews speak for themselves). To Whom it May concern : First and foremost, we do not own the property at 2 East Oak. We are acting as the Management company on behalf of the owner/investor. Jessica who is the onsite Property Manager has been working with ML Group as well as she claims there is work above her unit and there has been and she was informed of the noise and other work was floors below and around her tier but many floors away. i applied for an apartment and 1st of all the application fee ia $79.00 and you cannot complete your submission unless you provide a 350 00 deposit. I was very reluctant to submit but i needed to move. The agent told me more than likely i would be approved. A week passed i had to contact the agent for status. He didnt know. Everyday for an additional week i had to contact them. They should have been following up with me. I asked to have my application cancelled and refund my deposit 3 days ago. They do bad business and im gl... read more

STAY AWAY! Right from the beginning, Peak was a nightmare. When we toured the apartment, we were told that the apartment would come with the AC units and the ceilings fans would be fixed. Move-in day arrives and neither of these things is true - no AC and no working fans. We were told we would pay the rent on the first day when we pick up the keys, so we arrive at the office and we are told very rudely we cannot get the keys until we finish paying rent. Hello To whom it may concern: Please note that this review is being blown out of proportion as the property manager has always been responsive. The janitor did have some delays in getting these request done and Oscar as a new maintenance coordinator at the time was a very bad combination. Also please note that during the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic the company sent out a mass email for rental assistance. We by no means bully or pushed people into paying rent right away and we waived all late fees. After looking at our... read more

When reaching out the the property manager, we were met with hostility and disregard. This has been the consistent tone of Peak Properties and their management. If we have any sort of question or concern, we are ignored and spoken to condescendingly. We have spoken with other residents in the building and they have had the same experience as us.
