Our favorite place in Cary and Apex – I never write reviews but on seeing some of the negative reviews when looking up the phone # to make a reservation for tonight; I decided to. We have gone to Peak City over half a dozen times in the first half of 2006; the food is some of the best anywhere. The Best Restaurant in Apex! – We loved our experience at The Peak City Grill. We went in for lunch and sat outside on their patio. I had a Cuban Pork Quiche that was the best quiche I ever had! My husband went with a Open Faced Rueben that was also fantastic. You can tell a chef is at work at this cute Apex restaurant. A great place to celebrate any occasion!! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Disappointment and bad service – Our drink order was incorrect, and our food order took over an hour and a half (after order went in). My kids drinks came out after their food(which was 2 hours later) and cost 1.50. I did not get correct items with my meal. Potatoes tasted like salt. Food was mediocre. We had to stack our plates on the table next to ours. Coffee was cold and drinks never refilled. My daughter spilled her drink..ate on the flood as the waiter never even noticed. Negative Experience – ] I was served a bloody steak, which was ordered medium. The manager arrived at our table and questioned what was wrong with the steak. He explained that it was prepared according to temperature. ? Broken thermometer...I don't know. We were unable to cut it with a knife, it was so rare. My five year olds meal consisted of 6 fries and 3 small pieces of shaved steak...for $6.95. We had waited 50 min for our dinner to arrive. not what i expected for the price – This restaurant came highly recommended so we went with high expectations. The menu items were definitely upscale (in both menu offerings and price). If you chose an item on the main menu, the side items were alacarte (salads, vegetables). There were crackers and hummus offered before the main meal.
